Waxhaw. View from the Water Tower
Waxhaw is a small town 20 kilometers south of the largest city of North Carolina, Charlotte. The camera is installed in the center of the water tower. Waxhaw is typical “one-story America.” Residential buildings are both in the central part and on the outskirts of the town.
All the main attractions of Waxhaw are concentrated on a small area around the water tower, and the tower itself is also of interest to fans of vintage architecture. A tall silver tower is visible from anywhere in the town. On the sites near it, various festivals are held, for example, the Kaleidoscope Festival or the Festival of Lights.
On the screen, we can see just one of these festival grounds in front of the tower, as well as the crossroads of West South Main Street and North Broome Street. Along the first, stretches a railway on which pedestrians can cross the beautiful wooden Overhead Bridge.
