Winnabow. District Panorama

The magnificent panorama of Brunswick County in North Carolina is seen from an incredible height. The camera is installed on the television tower of the town of Winnabow. The tower was built in 1981, and it provides a digital signal to nearby settlements. We can see the villages of New Hope and Rabontown.

The first tower on this site was destroyed by a military jet in 1981. It was replaced by a new 610-meter one. From this height, you can see the nearby forests and villages, as well as the Atlantic Ocean. The PTZ camera shows us Brunswick County.

The population of the district is about 100,000 people. The county’s economy is based on tourism. The district was formed in 1764 by merging Bladen and New Hanover counties.
