Altea. The Beach Front

Altea is a luxury sea resort on the Costa Blanca in Spain. The town is fully dependent on tourism which has been flourishing here since the 1950s thanks to the town’s clean beaches, beautiful whitewashed houses and narrow streets. Altea is especially popular among German tourists.

The current webcam shows us the seafront esplanade of the La Roda Beach, which is one the most visited places of the town.

Actually, there are two main beaches in Altea, plus seven more that are located outside the towns borders. They all are easily accessible by a local bus or bicycle (if you are in a very-very good shape) . By the way, many tourists prefer to rent a car for the whole period of vacation so that they can travel from one beach to another without any difficulties.
