Webcam in the historical center of the Czech town called Hustopeče. As long as till 1918 it was the part of the Austro-Hungarian Empire and was mostly inhabited by ethnic Germans until the end of the Second World War, when all the German-speaking population was driven out and replaced by Czechs.
Hustopeče is located in Southern Moravia and has a typical landscape with a lot of sun, vineyards, fruits and almond sets. It will be an excellent place for vacation for wine lovers and cyclists thanks to innumerable bike routes and wine cellars in the town and its surroundings.
The town also is a former place of residence of Tomáš Garrigue Masaryk, who was the first President of Czechoslovakia. He lived here between years 1861 and 1868.
