Peniscola. Coastline

This webcam is located in the town of Peniscola. It lies on the Costa del Azahar, right along the Mediterranean coast.

Peniscola is a very popular tourist destination thanks to being a home town of the probably most famous and recognizable Valencian landmark —  the medieval templars castle, “Castell del Papa Luna”, where Avignon pope Benedict XIII lived in the 15th century.

The town of Peniscola is definitely one of those places where everyone, not only a knight or a pope, will feel very comfortable. Beautiful nature, historical and cultural monuments, interesting night life and splendid beach line suitable even for small children create perfect conditions for a wonderful and unforgettable summer vacation.
