Enschede. Fountain near the City Hall

Webcam in the historical center of Enschede — a city in the eastern Netherlands in the province of Overijssel and in the Twente region.

The medieval Enschede was mostly built of wood and, of course, town suffered from constant fires. After series of fires in 1517, 1750 and 1862 local town-dwellers has got their nickname Brandstichters, what means “instigators”.
