Kasprowy Wierch is the most significant mountain in the Western Tatras. Its height is about 2000 metres.

In the winter time it is the Mecca for all lovers and fans of alpine and cross-country skiing and snowboarding. As for the rest, it is a very popular all-year-round tourist destination in the country.

Kasprowy Wierch is a part of the Ski Resort Zakopane. The longest slopes take their beginning from the mountain’s very top and elevation difference comes up to 940 metres. The top of Kasprowy Wierch is easily accessible by cable car.
