Monument of Independence
This webcam faces probably one of the most recognizable landmarks of Almaty, its main symbol, The Monument of Independence. It is dedicated to the rich history of Kazakhstan, from the time of Queen Tomiris to the present day. The monument is 28 meters high and is completed by a six meters high golden man that catches a beast. This monument was created by a group of Kazakh architects and today it has become one of the most visited places in Almaty.Furmanova Street
