These webcams are from the Teide Observatory, which is located on the island of Tenerife. This is, by the way, one of the world’s largest and oldest international observatories.
Tenerife attracts scientists thanks to the very good astronomical seeing conditions on the island through out the year.
As a result, several solar and nocturnal telescopes, plus many radio telescopes from different countries have been placed in the observatory.
