Santa Pola. Vela Beach

This webcam is located in Santa Pola, a seaside resort town at the Mediterranean Sea. It shows Vela Beach, one of the town’s popular beaches. Santa Pola is a very attractive summer destination for many Spaniards and Europeans and its population traditionally doubles during every summer period. Thanks to the beautiful natural surroundings and wonderful beach line Santa Pola is also often being called one of the country’s best sea-resorts.

Overcrowded city beaches alternate with wild ones, that lie on some distance from the town’s center. Actually, Santa Pola is a right place for lovers and enthusiasts of active water sports. For example, windsurfing is more than just a favorite local pastime in the town, and more than one windsurfing school can at any moment provide you with some professional equipment or an experienced instructor.

Good town’s infrastructure plus aquarium, zoo and amusement park are very weighty arguments for families with children and babies. You can also plan to visit Alicante with its famous and beautiful Castle of Santa Bárbara, Explanada de Espana and the city port. Alicante lies quite close to Santa Pola, at the distance of some 20 kilometres.
