Axamer Lizum. Axamer Lizum Ski Resort

The web camera at the ski resort, Axamer Lizum, located in the Austrian Alps, is set at the cableway station, at an altitude of 2340 meters, near the huge panoramic restaurant, Hoadl Haus. The resort has been known, since 1964, as the venue for Alpine skiing competitions at the Winter Olympic Games. Axamer Lizum also hosted the competitions in 1976.

So, you can be sure that the local routes are at the highest level, since more than half a century ago such important competitions were held here. The trails in Axamer Lizum are mainly complex and super complex, and the difference in altitude is more than a thousand meters.

The area is quite remarkable in terms of cultural recreation. Modern hotels neighbor farms, the owners of which continue the traditions of many generations.
