Fieberbrunn. Mount Lärchfilzkogel

Lärchfilzkogel is one of the tops of the ski resort of Fieberbrunn, on which the cableway station is built. The height of this mountain is 1,654 meters. We are looking at the mountain slopes from the upper station of the funicular, Lärchfilzkogel.

Doppelmayr’s Lärchfilzkogel high-speed ropeway was built in 1990. Its enclosed cabins, with panoramic glass covers, can seat up to 15 passengers. Up to 850 people an hour can climb to the summit of Lärchfilzkogel with this lift.

In the summer, Lerhfilskogel is the starting point for several hiking trails. To get to the mountain hut, Wildseeloderhaus, built in 1892 at an altitude of 1854 meters, you can walk for 1.5 hours, but the Fieberbrunner route is suitable only for experienced walkers because its average duration is about 8 hours.

The very top of Lerhfilskogel can also be reached on foot. It takes about 2 hours to get there from Fieberbrunn.
