Fulpmes. Mount Sennjoch
The ski resort, Schlick 2000, consists of several skiing areas. The very first of them is located near the village of Fulpmes, where beginners can relax and learn the basics of skiing. More experienced athletes climb to a height of 2,110 meters above sea level, to the peak of Kreuzjoch.
We are looking at the highest point of the resort, located on the top of Sennjoch. The camera is installed just below the upper stations of the Sennjoch and Zirmach lifts. Both of them are chair-type lifts but differ greatly in length. Sennjoch, built in 1988, has a length of almost 2 kilometers, and Zirmach, built in 2013, is only 860 meters. Tourists prefer to ski on the slopes under the funicular Zirmach because the trails there have an increased level of complexity, and the ascent lasts only 3 minutes.
The camera is installed just below the top of Sennjoch. First, on the screen, we can see the upper Sennjoch station, then, when the camera is turned to the west, another cableway appears in front of us, as well as the majestic Kalkkögel Mountain Range, with peaks over 2.5 kilometers above sea level.
At the end of the virtual excursion, along the slope of Sennjoch, the camera displays the mountain huts and trails leading to the lower stations of the cableways.
