Gosau. Zwieselalm Lower Station

We are in the Austrian resort of Gosau, in its southern region of Gosau-Hintertal, where the company, Doppelmayr, built a funicular called Panorama-JET-Zwieselalm in 2004. With eight-seat cabins and panoramic glazing, Panorama-JET moves at a speed of 6 meters per second, and the cabins travel 2,226 meters in 6.5 minutes. The height difference between the lower and upper stations of the funicular is 767 meters.

The camera is installed on the rollout from Route 9a. It has a low level of complexity, so on the slope, they have combined the main ski route, leading to the lower station of Panorama-JET, with several training tracks. As you see, beginners can use special conveyor lifts during their training.

Next to the lower station, which we can see on the screen, there is a bus stop that serves public transport from different parts of the Dachstein West ski resort, a large parking lot, the Gosau power station, as well as several accommodation options, such as, Pension Jäger.
