Hochfügen. Ski Lift 8er-Jet

In Hochfugen, two cameras have been installed in different parts of the resort. In the north, we can see training routes with small child-sized ski lifts, and in the south, in front of us, is a panorama of steep slopes served by the most modern cable cars.

This static camera is installed on the lower station of the funicular, 8er-Jet Hochfügen, built in 1997, at an altitude of 1,486 meters above sea level. The upper station of this cableway is located 647 meters higher than the lower one. Comfortable eight-seat cabs of 8er-Jet Hochfügen travel the distance of 2.2 kilometers in 7.5 minutes.

From 1992 to 2016, having risen to the upper station of 8er-Jet Hochfügen, tourists could go on even higher trails, beginning at the top of Pfaffenbichl, at an altitude of 2,313 meters. Now, on the site of the old ski lift, Waidoffen, a new cableway with soft six-seat chairs, has been built.

On the left side of the screen, we can see a rollout from one of the resort’s tracks. Most of the southwestern slopes in Hochfügen, which you see, have an increased level of complexity. Beginners can ride on routes laid from the Pfaffenbühel 3 station.
