Ischgl. Palinkopf
At the top of Palinkopf, which you see on your screen, is the border of Switzerland and Austria. Tourists can go down the slopes of either country. Two four-seater chairlifts, E4 and D1, are shown by this camera, both of which are in Austrian Ischgl.
The camera is installed at 2,864 meters. On a clear day, dozens of Alpine peaks are clearly visible from here, many of which are more than 3,000 meters above sea level.
The highest of the visible peaks is Wildspitze. Its height is 3,768 meters. Wildspitze is the second highest mountain in Austria. There are also several ski trails on its slopes, but routes for climbers are more popular.
If you want to get from Ischgl to Palinkopf, you will have to change transport several times. But you do not have to go to the very top because at each station, you can find interesting trails. The price of the ski pass in the Ischgl ski resort is 48 euros per day or € 243 per week (it’s a good option for your vacation).
