Kirchberg in Tirol. Ochsalm Mountain Hut

Ochsalm is an ideal place for relaxation in the ski resort of Kirchberg. The guest house is built at an altitude of 1,470 meters above sea level. In 2010, a new Ochsalm cableway station was built right next to the hut. It brings tourists to the next point of the resort, from where they can continue their ascent to Mount Steinbergkogel.

Kirchberg offers vacationers more than 120 kilometers of well-groomed ski slopes. It is better to stay somewhere near cableways. Hotels built right on the ski slopes are suitable for this, Ochsalm is one of them.

The rotary camera can create a false impression about the tracks. We can see easy and medium routes, but more difficult slopes can be found at the top station of Steinbergkogel, which is 500 meters higher than Ochsalm.

The mountain hut awaits guests in both the summer and winter. It is interesting that the cost of a room, meals included, is two times different, depending on the season. In the winter, one night per person is 94 euros, and in the summer, it is only 46.
