Laterns. Sommerrodelbahn Entertainment Center

We are going to Laterns, in the western part of Austria, where in addition to the cable car network, there are also tracks built for the Alpine coaster. These tracks are a rail or a channel for sledging. Such rides are often built in the Alpine resorts, some of them work both in the summer and the winter.

The Laterns Alpine coaster run is made of stainless steel for two-seater sledges. Despite the seemingly extreme nature of such a ride, visitors can be assured of their safety, if they observe several rules of conduct during the descent. The cost of one sledge run is € 7 (€ 5 for children).

The rotary camera shows us several sections of the Sommerrodelbahn, as well as the chair lift, Gapfohl. It brings tourists to the ski zone of the same name, at an altitude of 1,560 meters above sea level. In the summer, you can start climbing the mountain from the starting point of Gapfohl. The cost of the trip is € 11.5 in both directions. In the winter, a ski pass for all ski lifts costs € 35.
