Mölltaler Gletscher. Skiing Trail №9

This is one of the many cameras of the Austrian ski resort Mölltaler Gletscher. It is located next to the cable way station, Schwarzkopflift. Just a few meters away is a beautiful mountain lake, Weißsee; we are looking at the foot of the mountain. There, at the bottom of Mount Sharek, the main objects of the resort infrastructure are located, such as a sports shop, a bar, an equipment rental, information boards for tourists and others.

But, of course, the main task of this camera is to grab a good picture on descent №9. This route is the continuation of the main routes №1, №2 and №3, beginning at the top of Sharek. The intermediate point of a long track is Klühspies Station and Eissee Restaurant.

It is best to plan a visit to Mölltaler Gletscher on weekdays. There are two reasons for this, firstly, the trails are open only to 4 pm, and secondly, you have the opportunity to enjoy half-empty slopes, which are usually crowded on weekends.
