Reith im Alpbachtal. Reitherkogelbahn Lift

The village of Reith im Alpbachtal is located at the entrance to the world famous Austrian ski resorts. In comparison with the Alpine peaks, the mountain above this village is more like a hill. We are at the foot of the mountain, on the lower station of Reitherkogelbahn cableway.

First, pay attention to Brandachlift, which is an old tow-lift. It rises only 452 meters along the slope of the mountain and is suitable for teaching skiing or snowboarding. Next to this lift, one of the bars of the resort is located, which can easily be distinguished by its round roof.

In the background, there are several guest houses built on the mountainside. This is an excellent alternative to the hotels of Reith im Alpbachtal, from which it takes vacationers some time to get to the ski slopes.

Reitherkogelbahn is the main funicular in the resort. Its stations have a height difference of almost half a kilometer, and the tracks under this lift have increased difficulty level.
