Sölden is a famous ski resort with a lot of sights. It is also known because the first stage of the World Cup in Alpine skiing takes place here. The slopes near Sölden are for beginners and average skiers. More confident skiers should visit Gaislachkogl, as it is extensive and complex and better for pros.

The height difference in the Sölden area is almost 2,000 meters. The total length of the trails is 150 km and there are 2 snow parks.

Now, we’ll say a few words about other local attractions. The first one is Timmelsjoch Road, which is the highest mountain road in the Eastern Alps. You can go along it from June to October but not in the ski season. Local churches are also worth visiting due to their interesting history. Tourists can also witness the reliability of things made in Austria, such as a 150-year-old water mill.
