Werfenweng. Funicular Station 975 m

The village of Werfenweng is another ski resort on our map. In the neighborhood, you will find some other ones, at which you can have a look.

So, what is Werfenweng? The ski season here lasts from December to April, which is normal for Austrian ski resorts not located on glaciers. The height difference is 932 meters and the total length of the trails is 27 kilometers, which is a lot for an average Alpine village.

Beginners can use 11 kilometers of trails, experienced skiers 15 km, and pros only 1 km. There are 8 lifts, the capacity of which is very high, which is good.
