Brussels. Law Courts of Brussels and the Grand Place
This webcam is located in wonderful Brussels. It provides a perfect panoramic view over the Grand Place (also known as Grote Markt) and its Baroque and Gothic miracles.
This is the central square of Brussels and definitely the most important tourist spot of the city. It has a very long and interesting history. It has served as the city’s central market place since the 13th century. In addition, over a long period of time, knight fights and other important events took place here. The most remarkable monuments on the square are the city’s Town Hall and the Breadhouse. The last one houses today the Museum of the City of Brussels. The charming guildhouses are also located on the Grand Place.
The worldwide famous Little man Pee (in Dutch “Manneken Pis”) can be found in a few minutes’ walk from here.
Every two years a million colourful begonias are placed on the Grand Place (but only for a few days). If you want to see this wonderful show, come to visit Brussels in August.
