Oberstaufen. Hochgratbahn Ski Resort

Summer and winter on Mount Hochgrat are two completely different tourist seasons and independent from each other. The popularity of the ski slopes is slightly higher, nevertheless the Hochgratbahn funicular is rarely empty in the summer.

Guests of Oberstaufen rise from the village to the top station of the Bergstation Hochgratbahn cableway, at a height of 1,700 meters, to embark on an exciting journey through the mountains. By the way, it is at this station that this camera is installed.

You will have to walk to the peak of Hochgrat, so in the picture, you can see a wide path along which tourists go to a record height (for these places) of 1,834 meters. From the station to the top of the mountain, the slope is gentle enough, so you can enjoy Alpine panoramas from the best viewpoint of the resort.
