The small mountain district of Wäldle, in the community of Balderschwang, is on the German highway OA9, passing into Austrian road L5. From Wäldle, the border can be reached in half an hour. We are looking at Wäldle from the center of Balderschwang, consisting of several hotels, restaurants, shops, a tourist center, and a ski resort.

On the right side of the screen is one of the main architectural sites of the community, the Catholic parish of St. Anthony, built in 1836 (the high tower of the church was completed in 1959). As you can see, only a few buildings have been constructed in the Wäldle district. The most popular with tourists is the hotel, Haus im Wäldle.

Holidaymakers who stay in Wäldle have a huge advantage over those who are in other areas of the community because the lower stations of Balderschwang are at an equal distance here. You can go to the funiculars in the center of Balderschwang or go to the neighboring Schwabenhof district. All Balderschwang lifts have a single ski pass, so tourists can try out all the resort routes available to them.
