Jasper National Park. The Athabasca Glacier
Jasper National Park is a vast nature reserve in the south-western part of Canada. Mountains and ridges of different structures are combined in it .
The camera is installed in the Columbia Icefield Discovery Centre. Here you can learn not only about the tourist routes of the park and the nearby Athabasca Glacier, which we see on the screen, but also stay in the three-star Glacier View Inn. If you have the opportunity to plan your holidays in advance, it is best to stay here in the “low season” (from late April to mid-June and mid-September to mid-October), when the prices are reduced.
The Athabasca Glacier is one of the oldest on the planet, which is why the attention of tourists from around the world is riveted on it. Athabasca is about 10 thousand years old and consists of a huge area (more than 200 square kilometers), as well as stunning views of peaks.
The National Park is also famous for its ski resorts, so cars with skis and snowboards in their trunks can often be seen in the parking lot of the Columbia Icefield Discovery Centre.
