Hong Kong. Yung Shue Wan

Lamma Island is connected to the port of Hong Kong by ferry. You can reach its shores in just 25 minutes.

In contrast to the central areas of Hong Kong, Lamma is a very calm island, where you can relax from the bustle of the city and giant buildings. Locals and tourists prefer to travel around the island by bike. You can see many of them right on the pier.

The camera is installed on the shore of Yung Shue Wan, where the ferry terminal is located. Tourists can at once plunge into the provincial atmosphere of Lamma and visit the nearby cafes and tea houses. You can explore the island without a bicycle because there are endless walking paths of different kinds (stone, wood, asphalt, and concrete).

We are looking at the sea, toward Macau. In clear weather, all the western islands are visible from the coast of Lamma—Cheung Chau, Lo Yan Shan, Fung Wong Shan, Tai Tung Shan, Lin Fa Shan, Por Kai Shan, Hei Ling Chau, Chau Kung To, Lo Fu Tau, Tai Che Tung , Lai Peak Shan, Tai Shan, Fa Peng Teng, and Kau Yi Chau.

Some travelers try to visit all of Hong Kong islands, but their total number exceeds 260, so the task is quite difficult.
