Baška Voda. Embankment

The resort town of Baska Voda is in Makarska Riviera, Croatia, located sixty kilometers from Split. It used to be a fishing village and now it is a popular Croatian resort. The village of Baska Voda is mentioned for the first time, after the war with the Turks in the eighteenth century. Some buildings of those times have survived, such as Sv.Lovro and St. Nicholas churches.

Baska Voda is surrounded by pine forests on three sides and on the fourth side is a sandy beach and the sea, with clear water, which is a rarity for Croatia. The webcam is directed to the embankment, along which many boats and yachts are moored.
