Mali Losinj. Entrance to the town harbor

This is an island resort of Croatia. Mali Lošinj has a fairly dense development but only in one of the parts of the harbor that you see on the screen. The entire suburb remains virtually untouched and is buried in green forests, but occasionally you can find separately standing hotels or campsites. Just a few meters behind the camera, the natural zone of the island of Lošinj begins.

On the screen, we can see one of the narrowest isthmuses of the island, next to one of the town marinas. On the left side of the screen, you can see the road leading to the bridge that connects the two parts of this isthmus.

As you may have guessed, most tourists get to the island by sea. The marinas and the port of Mali Lošinj take hundreds of thousands of tourists every year, but the most generous of them can get to the island by airplanes. For this purpose, a special hydro-airport has been opened here.

In the town and its surroundings, tourists can find a huge number of attractions, both natural and manmade. Near Čikat, there are parks and a large football stadium, and in Mali Lošinj, there are ancient churches, the ruins of the abbey, and endless promenades.
