The water aerodrome of European Coastal Airlines, which we see on the screen, connects the resorts on the islands of Croatia with the mainland and with each other. The motto of the airline is “Ferry is our past. Today we fly.” Seaplanes can’t replace ferries fully, but nowadays, more and more tourists prefer fast seaplanes to slow ferries.

Wealthy tourists can buy a survey flight for the price of 699 euros, or take a charter flight to the nearest water aerodrome (such a flight would cost 999 euros). Reservations on the company website begin long before the summer season.

The camera is installed on the Mali Lošinj Island in the Bay of Lošinj, where one of the wharves is situated. All the necessary tourist infrastructure is on the shores of Mali Lošinj and, for wildlife enthusiasts, there is a huge park, Podjavori, in the center of the island.
