Unusual for a Czech ski resort, we can see two modern lifts at once, one of which is equipped with eight-panoramic cabins from which tourists can enjoy Trutnov’s landscapes during the ascent to Černa hora.

The camera is installed at Hofmanky Express funicular station, opened at the beginning of the 2015/16 season. The modern chair lift, with heating and protective hoods, is the fastest in the whole of the Czech Republic, but it serves only part of the main route of the Černá hora Resort. The cable car, which you can see on the left side of the image, leads to the main trail.

Booths of the Černohorský Express cover almost 2.5 kilometers before you reach an altitude of 1,260 meters above sea level. The difference between the upper and lower stations of this lift is 566 meters. It is interesting that several hotels have been built at the upper station. For example, you can stay in the forest on the mountain top, at Kiosek U Staré Lanovky, for only 100 euros (the price for a double room).

A day ski pass in Jansk-Lazne costs from 600 to 800 CZK (about 30 euros). It gives you access to all the ski lifts of the resort, serving more than 13 kilometers of tracks.
