Janské Lázně is a splendid year-round ski resort in the Krkonoše mountains not far from the Polish border.

Despite the tiny size of the town, the local skiing zone is the second largest one in the Czech Republic, and its popularity as a spa-resort has spread far beyond the borders of the country.
