Prague. Petřín Hill

There are several parks and gardens on the Petřín Hill, which has lately become a popular place for relaxation among the city inhabitants. The hill can be reached by a frequent cable car.

The Tower was built in 1891 and was used as an observation tower and a transmission tower. Today it’s one of the major tourist attractions.

To the left in the foreground, the Strahov Monastery is clearly seen, to the right — the Church of Saint Norbert.
