Prague. Podolí Water Stadium

We can see a major sports facility of the Czech capital, located in the Prague-4 district. The swivel camera shows two open pools of the Podolí complex. The spacious stadium, which you see, can seat 5,000 spectators.

The stadium was opened in 1965. The last major overhaul was carried out in 2000-2001. The complex includes not only two outdoor pools with 58 lanes, but also a 50-meter indoor pool. All sports facilities are perfect for conducting competitions in water sports.

To attract the attention of the townspeople to this sports center, fitness areas, saunas, children’s slides and other entertainment facilities are open at the stadium. The pool is visited by about 2,500 people daily.

Podolí is built in a picturesque location, on the right bank of the Vltava River, not far from the Veslařský Island. The stadium was named after the district in which it is located.
