Srní is a village in the Plzeň Region of the Czech Republic. It is located in the region of Sumava, or the Bohemian Forest, which itself is a low mountain range creating a natural border between the Czech Republic on one the side and Germany with Austria on the other.

Sumava Natural Park is a popular holiday destination and is also located here. All interesting natural and cultural places are connected via roads and bicycle trails. Among tourists and enthusiasts of nature Sumava is known for excellent local skiing and hiking possibilities.

There are a lot of ski trails (about 450 kilometres in total) in this place. Mostly all of them are maintained and opened from the middle of December until the end of March. The altitude is above 1,000 m and promises only perfect snow conditions during most of the winter period.
