The town of Strakonice has many things to offer to any possible kind of tourist. There are historical and architectural sights, as well as its beautiful surroundings. You will find a lot of interesting even if you are a music admirer. It can be, for example, the International Bagpipe Festival, which is held in Strakonice every second year in the end of August. The history of this festival starts from the year 1967, and today it is visited by participants from more than 20 countries.
