Strakonice. View to the Castle

This webcam is located in the historical center of the old Czech town called Strakonice. The town stands at the confluence of the rivers Volyňka and Otava.

Webcam shows the medieval castle, where the history of Strakonice once started. Nowadays a part of this castle serves as a regional museum.

From the 19th century the town of Strakonice was the main manufacturing area for fez hats.
