Karjaa. The Centre

It’s not a secret to anyone that any settlement can progress in its development and regress. Not every village can become a city, and not every city can keep its status for a long time.

In front of you is one of the streets of Karjaa, a former Finnish town. Now, it is part of another municipality.

You can get there from Helsinki by railway, in one hour. The local station is an important transport hub.
