Paris. View of the City from the 20th Arrondissement

We observe the panorama of the city from the 20th arrondissement (Arrondissement de Ménilmontant), which was created recently. Until 1859, this was a part of the territory of Belleville, the town of Menilmontant and the commune of Sharon.

It has its attractions, but because of the remoteness from the center, not all tourists come here. It’s more interesting to look into the church Église Notre-Dame-de-la-Croix and Église Saint-Germain de Charonne et cimetière de Charonne.

But there is a place that is always crowded. This is Cimetiere du Pere Lachaise. You would need more than one day to visit all the graves of famous actors, directors, musicians, politicians, philosophers, poets, and other celebrities. In addition to Pere Lachaise, in Arrondissement de Ménilmontant there is Belleville Cemetery, but it is not as popular among tourists.
