Saint-Gilles. Saint-Gilles-les-Bains. Boucan Canot. The Beach

This webcam is located on the western coast of the beautiful and picturesque French island of Reunion, somewhere in the blue Indian Ocean. It captures view at the local beach in a small place called Boucan Canot.

The flags, which you easily can observe from here, are set out by the rescue service. They should inform tourists about the current situation in the sea (high waves, sharks and other kinds of danger). Green flag means zero level of danger, yellow — be careful, red — swimming is prohibited.

Reunion is a paradise for divers, indeed. For instance, an amazing diving spot with underwater arches and incredible flora and fauna is located just in a short distance from Boucan Canot.
