This webcam captures the popular ski resort of Bakuriani, central Georgia. This resort village lies some 30 kilometres from the town of Borjomi, and can be reached both by rail and car.

Bakuriani is located on the beautiful slopes of the Trialeti Range, and was among the proposed venues for the outdoor sports disciplines when Georgia presented its bid to host the 2014 Winter Olympics and Paralympics in 2006. Bakuriani, as well as the neighboring town of Borjomi, features its own mineral springs, located on the territory of the Botanical Garden of the Georgian Academy of Sciences.

Our webcam is situated 100 metres from the heart of the town, on the building of the Hotel Red House. This hotel is popular among enthusiasts of skiing and snowboarding. Nearest slopes of the Mount Kohta are situated just 2 kilometres from the hotel and can be reached by car or taxi, as well as popular Didveli Track (2.4 kilometres) and Tatra Puma (1.8 kilometres).
