Gori. Stalin Square

This webcam is located in Gori, a city in eastern Georgia. We are now observing Stalin Square from the side of the Town Hall and the 18th century Saint George’s church of Gorijvari, which is standing on a beautiful hill. Our webcam shows the very city center, nearby can be found Gori State Teaching University, Military Hospital, a movie theatre and a primary school.

Gori is a wonderful city with beautiful architecture and interesting history. Among main tourist attractions should be mentioned the Gori Fortress (first records from the 13th century) and the Joseph Stalin Museum. Unfortunately, in 1920 a disastrous earthquake destroyed many beautiful buildings and several ancient churches.
