Gudauri. Gudauri Alpine Resort

Gudauri is a ski resort located on the Greater Caucasus Mountain Range. It lies some 120 kilometres from the capital city Tbilisi.

Gudauri is known as a place best for free-riding, but beginners will also find some easy pistes there. The local slopes are completely above the tree line and are considered to be avalanche-safe.

Average altitude is about 2000 metres, the highest point that can be reached by lift is located 3306 metres above the sea level on Mountain Sadzele.
