Signagi. Hotel Solomoni 1805

This webcam is located in the very heart of the city of Sighnagi and captures beautiful Hotel Solomoni 1805. This hotel is quite new, as it was built in 2010. It bears name of the great Georgian philosopher Dodashvili Solomon, who was born in Sighnaghi. The hotel has its own restaurant, a cafe with beautiful terrace, a traditional Georgian wine cellar and a modern conference room for your business meetings.

Among the main local tourist attractions, we can mention the old 18th-century Sighnagi fortress (from its towers opens stunning view over Alazani valley) and the Bodbe Monastery. The last one is situated just 2 kilometers from Signagi and is an important pilgrimage site in Georgia. The shrine of Saint Nino, the 4th-century female evangelist (who witnessed the conversion of Georgians to the Christian faith), is located here.
