Bayrischzell. Osterhofen Panorama

From Wendelstein Mountain, we are looking at a small district of the spa town of Bayrischzell, Osterhofen. There is a cable car station, Wendelstein-Seilbahn, from which tourists can get to the top of Wendelstein.

The lift has worked since 1970 and other than the lift, the mountain can only be reached by the cog railway. The cost of the trip there and back is 22 euros, and in the comfortable train it is 10 euros more expensive. Guests of Bayrischzell climb this mountain mainly for hiking. If you come to the Alpine peaks in search of ski slopes, then you need to go to the eastern part of the city where the ski resort of Sudelfeld is situated.

On a clear day, the peaks of Hochmiesing are visible on the opposite side of the valley. The maximum peak of this mountain is located at around 1883 meters above sea level.

But for Osterhofen, you can see other areas of Bayrischzell, such as Aurach, Geitau and Dorf.
