Bremen. Werderland

In front of us is the Werderland floodplain in the north of Bremen, where there is a confluence of the Lesum and Weser rivers. On the territory of Werderland are several surviving buildings of the sixteenth century, which are now converted into a museum. Most of the territory is still used by agricultural companies, but there are also completely new lines of business, such as Bremer Golfclub Lesmona e.V, opened on the site of the old cemetery.

On the left side of the screen, we can see Segelschulschiff Deutschland museum opened on the basis of the former German merchant ship. There is also a restaurant and a conference room. The popular tourist destination was completely renovated in 2014, for almost one million euros.

Four-star Hotel Strandlust Vegesack is situated near the pier, on which the camera is installed. This and other hotels on the bank of the Weser are very popular with tourists, because the windows of the hotel offer excellent views of Vegesack and Lemwerder, Bremen’s districts.
