Lenggries. Mountain Station 1,480 meters

Lenggries is a very nice small town, but this is not what draws people to it. Nature attracts them. In the summer, Lenggries provides excellent opportunities for trekking and cycling along the scenic mountain routes, and in the winter, it allows you to enjoy a lot of skiing or snowboarding.

The local ski region is called Lenggries-Wegscheid / Brauneck and can be considered the best ski region, south of Munich. The total length of the local ski slopes is 46 kilometers (a quarter of them have artificial snow). More than half of the trails are red, a third are blue, and a few kilometers are black.

Lovers of cross-country skiing can enjoy Lenggries-Wegscheid / Brauneck too, since as many as 130 kilometers of tracks are waiting for them here.
