Munich. View of Downtown from Freimann Campus

A beautiful panorama of Munich, with the background of the Alps, opens from the roof of one of the buildings on Freimann campus. This is the largest complex of hostels in Germany and was built in two phases during the 60s and 70s of the last century. In this regard, the town is divided into two parts, Altstadt (Old Town) and Neustadt (New Town).

Students who live in the village, study at major universities in Bavaria: Munich University and Munich Technical University. Freimann is famous for its youth festivals, in particular, the four-day «StuStaCulum», which attracts theater and music groups from around the world.

On a clear day, you can see the giant mountain, the Zugspitze (2962 meters above sea level), the highest point in Germany. The Munich Cathedral of the Blessed Virgin Mary is visible on the left and a skyscraper, ADAC Headquarters, is on the right.
