Oberstdorf. Primary School

Children should get the best of everything. Apparently, Oberstdorf’s officials were guided by such a slogan when they opened the elementary school in the heart of town, next to the town hall and the central square, Marktplaatz. We are looking at the school from the tourist center of Oberstdorf.

Schoolchildren of Grundschule Oberstdorf often go on a tour of the mountains surrounding the town. The educational process is strongly influenced by the status of Oberstdorf as a major sports center in the country, which is why schoolchildren often go from cozy classrooms to the ski slopes.

There are 20-25 children in each class. Many of them walk to school because it is located in the heart of the town. For the residents of the districts of Tiefenbach, Reichenbach, Ruby, Schöllang, Reuthe, Jochen and Kornau, there is a school bus.
