Weimar. German National Theatre

This is the German National Theater in Weimar. The monument in front of the theater is dedicated to the two famous German poets, Johann Wolfgang von Goethe and Friedrich Schiller. Despite the fact that the poets were of different height, they are almost the same height on the monument.

We can see the main building of the theater, but there are several of them in Weimar. Thus, having several troupes and venues for performances, the theater puts on a lot of performances in a season and tours extensively throughout the country.

The building, which you see on the screen, was recreated after its complete destruction during the Second World War.
